For example, I monitor my network updates and send notes of congratulations when I see someone has a new position or new employer. Also, when I forward an introduction, I always send a message back to the requester letting them know that I&#039;ve forwarded it and usually making some kind of comment about the request -- &quot;sounds like a cool project&quot;, or whatever is appropriate.

Really, a few seconds, or a minute or two, of extra effort is invaluable in terms of strengthening an existing relationship.]]></description>
